How to play Bumblebank
The goal
Be the first to 10,000 points. When someone gets there, everyone else has one last turn, and the highest score wins.
Your turn
- Throw the six dice.
- Pick at least one die that scores (below). Bank shows what your turn is worth.
- Bank to add it to your score, or throw the rest to win more.
If a throw has nothing that scores, you’re stung: you lose this turn’s points. If all six dice score, you have hot dice: throw all six again.
Your first bank of the game must be 500 or more.
What scores
| Dice | Points |
|---|---|
| Each 1 | 100 |
| Each 5 | 50 |
| Three 1s | 1,000 |
| Three of any other number | 100 × the number |
| Four of a kind | 1,000 |
| Five of a kind | 2,000 |
| Six of a kind | 3,000 |
| 1-2-3-4-5-6, three pairs, or four of a kind and a pair | 1,500 |
| Two sets of three | 2,500 |
Only dice from the same throw count together.
Options
In New game: play to 5,000 for a quick game, turn off the 500 opening, or turn on Three stings, where three stings in a row cost 1,000. Against the Scienceboos, pick Easy, Medium or Hard.
Keyboard
1–6 pick a die, R throws, B banks, U lets go of every pick, H asks for a hint (turn the Hint button on in Settings).
Tips
- A single 1 can beat 1-5-5: it leaves five dice to throw instead of three.
- With one or two dice left, a sting is likely. Bank.
